Complaints & Content Removal

We take complaints and content concerns seriously. Anyone — whether a user or a third party — may submit a complaint or request the removal of content (including content believed to be illegal, non-consensual, infringing, or otherwise in violation of our policies).

Email info@appligon.com with the subject line "[COMPLAINT]" (or "[REMOVAL]" for a removal request).

Please include, where possible:

• A description of the complaint or the content in question
• The URL(s) or location of the content
• The reason for your request (e.g., illegal, infringing, non-consensual, depicts a minor)
• Your contact details so we can follow up
• If you are the rights holder, a statement of your rights and good-faith belief

• Acknowledgement: We acknowledge receipt of every complaint within 2 business days.
• Review & resolution: We investigate and respond with our decision within 7 business days. Complex cases may take longer; we will keep you informed.
• Urgent / illegal content: Content that is illegal, non-consensual, or depicts a minor is actioned immediately upon discovery or report, ahead of the standard timeline.

Upon a valid request or our own detection, we may:

• Remove or disable access to the content
• Suspend or terminate the responsible account
• Preserve relevant records where required by law
• Report to the appropriate law enforcement authorities where applicable

We will notify the complainant of the outcome. Where content was removed in error, the affected party may request reinstatement by replying to the same thread with supporting information.

We maintain an absolute zero-tolerance policy for Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM), non-consensual content, and any content depicting or suggesting minors. All Kafkana characters are fictional adults (18+) generated by AI. Suspected CSAM is removed immediately and reported to the relevant authorities (e.g., NCMEC, IWF). See our Age Verification Policy.

If you believe content infringes your copyright or other IP rights, send a notice to info@appligon.com including identification of the work, the infringing location, your contact details, and a good-faith statement. We process valid notices promptly and offer a counter-notice process to the affected party.
